There are two rounds each year. www.uws.edu.au/about/adminorg/devint/ors/fundingopps/internalgrantsThe University of Western Sydney seeks to link with eminent international researchers through its Eminent Research Visitors Scheme.
Eminent Research Visitors are scholars with high-level international reputations as researchers who can advance the acquisition of leading edge knowledge in the fields in which UWS is seeking to maintain research excellence. The Eminent Research Visitors Scheme covers support for visits by eminent researchers from overseas for at least eight weeks a year across a designated triennium. The Scheme seeks to intensify the research capacity, international links and collaborative research activity of nationally competitive research groupings at UWS.
Eminent Research Visitors share their expertise and fundamentally contribute to the sponsoring research grouping’s development during their periodic stays at UWS, forming new intellectual bridges, promoting scholarly exchange of research expertise, and enabling UWS researchers to discuss topics and action research at the forefront of knowledge in the relevant fields. www.uws.edu.au/about/adminorg/devint/ors/fundingopps/internalgrants
